Dollskin Cheek Palette
I bought this well over a year ago, and shame on me for not sharing it with you sooner. This is a really great palette. Tarina Tarantino doesn’t get the buzz it deserves.
This has four shades, clockwise from top left, that Tarina Tarantino describes as:
Candy Cameo – shimmering pink
Feather – shimmering peach
Carved Rose – cool, vivid pink
Parasol – shimmering bright pink coral
I kind of disagree. Here is how I would describe the shades:
Candy Cameo – light/medium shimmery peachy pink
Feather – medium shimmering salmon
Carved Rose – cool, vivid matte pink
Parasol – glittery bright mauve/pink
I am not a fan of the glitter in Parasol, so keep the finish in mind with that one. It’s not packed with glitter, and you can blend most or all of it away. Still, I find that I catch a glint of a stray bit of glitter here and there. Not a big deal, but worth noting.
The formula is nice and smooth. It applies and blends evenly, and this has really good staying power. Every time I have worn it, it has lasted until I took my makeup off. All of the shades flatter my warm skin tone, with Feather and Candy Cameo in particular really suiting me.
Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Palette retails for $45 and can be purchased from the Tarina Tarantino web site.
